The Guesthouse, by Rumi

As I settle into my new life, there are moments I yearn for the old. When it passes I remember that the fear is temporary, and the love is why I am here. As the old form yields to the new, I remember that this is growing me in ways that I don’t understand at times, and that’s OK. We can’t always make sense of life, but we can learn to trust the sensations that arise within us as teachers. I leave you with a reading suggestion, the beautiful poem “The Guesthouse” by Rumi. It has truly helped me through this transition. Our lives are punctuated by different stages of growth. I hope this helps you trust your inner knowing and stay true to your path. May you welcome all the guests that show up to teach you.
